Thanks Valerie. Bologna is a nice student town. All the main streets have these beautiful arches that give the town a very distinctive feel, unlike every other Italian town I’ve visited. Obviously if you visit Italy the main places to go to are Rome, Florence and Venice, but if you have a free day I recommend you take a train to Bologna and lose yourself (it’s very close to Florence).
